  28. I have done a minimal boot sequence (in place specially),
  29. and the copy of Newsbase in the root is 0.59d containing !Qedit
  30. in !Newsbase.Autoboot in addition to what you can see above.

  32. SerialDev$Path : SCSI::Part0.$.A.!Acornet.Resources.!SerialDev.

  34. The copy installed in !Boot is sufficient, and happens to hold
  35. a couple of extra drivers installed there (ISA and Heaven). :(

  37. Had I needed those (ISA needs a Risc PC for a start) then !Acornet
  38. has upset the location of !SerialDev, which is in my !Boot stuff.

  40. I'm sure that Acornet 0.18 did not have this !Acornet.Temp effect.

  42. Excuse me if this is getting a bit technical for the mailing list, but
  43. things such SerialDev$Path being forcefully changed might affect people.
